Isaac Toffel

President

Isaac Toffel is a Data Science and Economics student at Northeastern University and the Founder & President of the Equity Research Group. He leads the organization's research strategy, analyst education, and coverage development across small and mid-cap public companies. His work focuses on equity research, valuation, portfolio construction, and financial data analysis. He also leads fintech coverage and has authored research on dLocal, including a multi-method valuation model focused on emerging market payments, FX sensitivity, customer concentration, and platform scalability. Outside of ERG, Isaac completed his first co-op at State Street, supporting research and market analysis across asset managers, private markets, hedge funds, private credit managers, and ETF issuers. Isaac is interested in equity research, asset management, investment strategy, and using data-driven analysis to better understand public markets.
